With a total area of no less than 14,000 m2 and a built area of 4,000 m2, the Interspar in Castelfranco is one of the largest stores in its category.

For its construction, it was necessary to divide the project into several phases: An initial preliminary phase of land reclamation and preparation, followed by the insertion of piles and the first reinforced concrete structures, to the final phase of completing the work.

Site preparation

To accommodate the new store, some clearing and land preparation work was carried out:

The shrubs and vegetation previously present were removed to make room for the new shopping center, an important work that is part of a larger urban redevelopment project aimed at accompanying the growth and development of the area.

Once the area was cleaned up, the soil was prepared through the process of calcification: an intervention that takes advantage of the soil already on site, which is mixed with lime that acts as a binder, increasing its stability.

Laminating tanks

Nothing was left to chance: to ensure the safety of the site and avoid future hydrogeological problems, lamination tanks were installed underground.

A system of concrete basins about 2 meters deep, placed under the street level and connected to each other through a system of pipes, allows to collect rainwater which is channeled and drained safely.

Development

Technical choices such as this, made by Eleva Build and its team of engineers, made it possible to contain the already particularly tight time requirements by defining and optimizing the entire foundation and piling phase.

In addition, the lime preparation allowed the entire production chain on site: from the assembly of the prefabricated building to the realization of the urbanization and parking works, to operate in stable and clean conditions, non-stop even with the particularly adverse weather conditions that affected the city of Castelfranco throughout 2024.

Final result

The work started in March 2024 and was completed in October of the same year, allowing in the meantime the interior fit-out concluded with the inauguration and opening to the public on November 29, 2024 one month ahead of the contractual schedule entrusted to Eleva Build.

Eleva Build gained the recognition and trust of Principals and Designers by making winning technical choices. The results in terms of timing and final satisfaction of the main Client Aspiag Service srl crown a precise and punctual job order management.
